RNIB, together with the Clore Social Leadership Programme, is offering the chance of a fully-funded Fellowship for a blind or partially sighted aspiring leader in the not-for-profit sector.
The Clore Social Leadership Programme offers the successful applicant:
-
a personal mentor
-
access to coaching support
-
residential weeks, sessions and workshops with other Fellows
-
an individual assessment of leadership strengths and potential
-
networking opportunities
-
a secondment in a different place of work or sector.
Ellie Southwood, an RNIB Trustee and 2011 Clore Social Fellow enthuses "I'm three months into my Clore Fellowship and have already learnt a lot - about myself and where I can add value to the social sector.
"As well as lots of personalised training opportunities, the Fellowship includes a practise-based research project and a chance to do a secondment in an organisation that is different to any I have worked in before.
"But the best thing about the Fellowship is meeting and spending time with the other Fellows - like-minded people who are ready to offer their experience and support.
"I'd recommend the Fellowship to anyone who is committed to the social sector and ready to take on challenges that will help them to make a difference."
