Debt advice

RNIB has entered into partnership with Citizen Advice Bureau (CAB) called 'Face-to-face' to improve the supply of face-to-face debt advice to people with sight problems.

Many people have difficulty managing their money and, increasingly, are finding themselves in debt or at risk of being in debt. Almost everyone owes money - bills are a fact of life but sometimes you may feel that you are swamped and can't see a way of paying them all. The worst thing you can do is to ignore the problem - it won't just go away.

If you or someone you know has a sight problem and money worries then RNIB, in partnership with CAB, may be able to help. Our partnership covers ten areas across England:

  • Gateshead
  • Bradford
  • Sheffield
  • Rotherham
  • Greater Manchester
  • Liverpool
  • Stoke-on-Trent
  • Wolverhampton
  • Walsall
  • Greater London.

If you live and work in one of these areas, RNIB can make an appointment for you with a CAB money advisor.

Money advisors may also be able to visit you in your home. If you do not live or work in one of the ten areas listed above, we may still be able to help or can tell you about local money advice services.

If have any money advice enquiries or would like to make an appointment with one of the CABs named above, please contact adviceservice@rnib.org.uk
