This month RNIB submitted a joint response with Thomas Pocklington Trust to the DWP’s call for evidence regarding the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessment.

The response was able to draw upon findings from the recently completed PIP research project carried out by NatCen and funded by RNIB, Thomas Pocklington Trust and Sense.

The report draws together qualitative interviews and secondary analysis of administrative data provided by DWP. We are incredibly pleased that findings from the research were able to inform the call for evidence and, hopefully, contribute towards a positive change.
