Case studies - Buildings

We've worked on so many projects that it's hard to choose the best ones to put as case studies.

Our access consultants have given advice on the access aspects of the design of buildings across the UK, ranging from huge parliamentary buildings and airports, through to housing developments. We understand that balancing aspirational, design led projects with the very real needs of the end user can be difficult.

Project work ranges from the design stage, or even before designs are started, to ensure that access is at the heart of the decisions being taken.

Or we work on final buildings to improve the interior design, advising on lighting and colour schemes. Sometimes just advising on small aspects such as stair nosings to help architects agree on the final choice.

Much work has been done on listed buildings. These projects bring their own concerns as listed building status takes priority over access issues. But with a creative and pragmatic approach, focused on customer needs, often a solution can be found.
