Accessibility at work

Making group activities such as meetings or presentations at work accessible only needs some basic techniques to be applied to help ensure that blind and partially sighted people are fully involved and included.

Running meetings

Find out how best to prepare for individuals with sight problems when you are planning meetings and group events of various kinds.

For example:

  • What do you need to find out beforehand to help ensure that the event runs smoothly?
  • How do you ensure blind and partially sighted participants are not excluded?

Giving presentations

Discover how to help ensure that your presentation delivery is accessible to as wide an audience as possible.

For example:

  • How can I help to ensure flip charts are used accessibly?
  • What can I do to help make my presentation software slides accessible?
  • How about if I want to use video?
