The BBC is looking for parents who are blind and partially sighted and couples who are planning on having children to take part in a documentary.
The documentary will look at the way in which people with sight problems deal with everything from medical professionals and social services to education and the perceptions of other parents.
"The film will not only look at the difficulties but also show the positives, the unique bonds every parent forms with their child and wider universal themes that everyone faces as parents," says Tom Payne, the director of the film.
The BBC is keen to hear from couples who have children or are considering becoming parents. At least one of the participants needs to be 30 or under, and be blind or partially sighted.
Interested individuals should contact Tom Payne tom.payne@bbc.co.uk or call 07973 79 09 05.
