RNIB in partnership with the National Autistic Society, Sunfield and Brookfields Schools hosted a conference on 18 and 19 November 2010 entitled:
Children who have VI and Autism: Furthering understanding of research and practice.
The aims of the conference were:

to present some of the most recent research into visual impairment and autism

to help raise awareness of issues surrounding visual impairment and autism

to provide information and ideas to enhance practice.
