Project outcomes: Conference

RNIB in partnership with the National Autistic Society, Sunfield and Brookfields Schools hosted a conference on 18 and 19 November 2010 entitled:
Children who have VI and Autism: Furthering understanding of research and practice.

The aims of the conference were:

  • to present some of the most recent research into visual impairment and autism
  • to help raise awareness of issues surrounding visual impairment and autism
  • to provide information and ideas to enhance practice.
