Our work with the industry
We are working with finance professionals from across the industry to make banking services accessible to blind and partially sighted people. For example, LINK, Barclays, Lloyds, Nationwide, Co-operative, RBS, VISA and PayPoint have all supported our Make Money Talk campaign.
LINK, the UK's cash machine network, said:
"RNIB have been working closely with our members and the ATM industry to ensure that improvements to the LINK UK ATM network deliver an effective and inclusive customer experience. Access to cash is critical to consumers and audio assistance at the ATM really benefits consumers who are blind or partially sighted."
We also recognise best practice in banking and finance by awarding exemplar status to financial services that meet the needs of blind and partially sighted customers.
