VISION 2020 UK Annual Vision Strategy conference

Vision UK 2013 is now open for registration and will take place at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London on Tuesday 11 June.

The theme of the conference is "progress through partnership," where a refreshed UK Vision Strategy will be launched. The event will also feature a number of key speakers from the eye and public health sectors including Dr Clare Gerada, chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners and ophthalmologist Parul Desai of Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to contribute to the strategy and take part in a series of workshops.

UK Vision Strategy Anita Lightstone, programme director, UK Vision Strategy said: ''It is an exciting time as we launch the refreshed UK Vision Strategy and the conference will provide an excellent opportunity for those in the eye health, public health and sight loss sectors to plan how to successfully implement this over the next five years.''
