Our customers are getting older. Many of our older customers will be experience disabilities that they haven't had before. This may be because they've had an accident, or acquired a disability as they've got older.
We want to help you reach more customers, particularly those with disabilities. And by applying our expertise in working with people who are blind or partially sighted, we can help you reach these groups in particular.
As many blind and partially sighted people will have additional needs, a lot of our services are pan-disability focused. And we've found many of our recommendations help other customer groups too. For example, whilst wider aisles accommodate a guide dog user and their dog, they also make life easier for a parent with a buggy and lots of bags.
What services do you provide?
The services delivered by our expert teams cover a range of everyday situations to help people go shopping, travel, visit friends or control their money. We offer training, consultancy and advice services in a range of areas including:
-
Inclusive product design
-
Accessible websites
-
Improving buildings, streets and wayfinding
-
Accessible information - such as large print, braille and audio formats
-
Tactile maps and diagrams
-
Corporate partnership opportunities
Our client list is long and varied. It's one of the reasons we love working here! From a major bank or blue chip manufacturer to a small medical practice or tourist attraction, we've been able to help. We talk about many of our services on our website, but we are flexible in how they are delivered so we'd love to hear from you if you think we could help.
The right service for you
We have teams with expertise in each area they cover. The team who would work with you on planning an accessible building would come from our access consultancy team and be NRAC accredited. Or for products, you would work with one of our ergonomists.
Your daily contact would be one of our account handlers. This friendly, professional team has over a hundred years of experience between them so if you think your question is a bit daft, or you aren't sure exactly what you need, then they are well placed to guide you through.
Our aim is to find the right service for you, to enable you and your customers to benefit from your part in making society more inclusive. And we're more than happy to help you promote the steps you take too.
Size doesn't matter
If you are a small company, with a small budget, then we've done our best to make sure there is something for you. But we also work with major multinational companies too and have innovative services to meet their needs. So, if you want to reach more customers then have a read through our pages or get in touch to see how we can help you.
