Overview and objectives

Customers miss many 'point of sale' messages because they are difficult to see.

Simple design choices can make a huge difference to the effect of your sales message. If you are designing promotional materials for use in the retail environment, then your design choices will be having a huge impact.

Suitable for:

  • Anyone involved in the design of point of sale materials.
  • Point of sale or promotional designers
  • Signage designers
  • Marketing or branding professionals
  • Point of sale suppliers or procurement teams

Pre-requisites: None.

Content

Aspects include:

  • Disability numbers and demographics
  • Introduction to disability legislation and external drivers
  • Find out about the principles of good design
  • Identify examples of good design in practice

Course detail

  • One day course: One day in-house course (for example, 9.30am to 4.30pm)
  • Delegate numbers: Ideal for around 10 to 15 delegates. We can work with more although participation will be limited.
  • Fee: £1200 for a one day in-house course, plus reasonable expenses and VAT
