Brush up your braille workshop

Do you feel like your braille has become a bit rusty lately? This one-day interactive workshop may have just the thing to refresh your skills!

The day will include group discussion, questions and answers, practical exercises and fun activities! It provides an ideal revision opportunity for candidates taking the Certificate in Grade 2 English Braille exam as well.

Course pre-requisite: delegates must have a good working knowledge of reading and writing grade 2 English braille.

Learning objectives

Attending this workshop will enable you to:
1. refresh and polish your existing grade 2 English braille skills
2. identify changes to the braille code since 2004
3. be consistent in your presentation and use of braille
4. develop personal strategies for learning and remembering braille.

Who should attend

Anyone with a working knowledge of grade 2 English braille, including teachers of children who are blind or partially sighted, teaching assistants, rehabilitation and social workers, braille users, braille production staff, students learning braille, parents and carers.
