Dot-to-dot is a brand new self-teach grade 1 braille course designed for adults who wish to learn braille by sight (TC21248) or by touch (TC21249).
The two versions of the course stand alone, although several elements are the same, enabling sighted adults to support touch learners.
Starting with pre-braille skills the complete grade 1 braille code is taught in small steps. The sighted learners pack comes with instructional material in print, while the touch learners version offers a choice of audio or electronic text. Ample practice material in reading and writing braille is provided.
The pack has a heavy emphasis on the practical use of braille from the start and includes an upward writing braille tool and writing paper and labelling materials, enabling you to produce braille and start to label items around your home. The pack also includes a braille keyring and a clear print and braille card game, so you can enjoy a game with family and friends.
