Make your event accessible

Overview and objectives

You will learn about the key factors relating to making an event accessible for disabled people.

UK exhibitions are a £9.3 billion industry (Source: AEO/AEV). This doesn't include smaller, private celebrations, seminars and events. There are around 10.6 million disabled people in Britain with a spending power in excess of £80 billion.

Excluding so many people from your event is not good practice, inclusive or good business sense.
