An important opportunity to bring yourself up to date with changes to the 14-25 education and training landscape in the context of the SEN Green Paper and recent policy changes relating to transition and post-school education, and to consider the implications for blind and partially sighted learners. Speakers include Peter Little OBE, Chair of the DfE Advisory Group for Learners with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities and Dr Graeme Douglas from University of Birmingham, who will launch at the conference the first report of a major research project on the experiences of blind and partially sighted learners moving from school to adulthood.
