Using public transport is essential for everyday activities like getting to work, visiting friends and family or attending medical appointments. However for many blind and partially sighted people it can be challenging, especially when transport services can vary so much between operators. Find out about the transport experiences of some blind and partially sighted people, by watching our videos on bus travel, train and tram travel, taxi travel, walking and finding your way. Alternatively, find out about best practice in transport we have identified.
If you would like to find out more about making your transport services accessible to blind and partially sighted people, please get in touch. Tel: 01733 37 53 45 Email: transport@rnib.org.uk
