Name change from Rushton
We were previously known as RNIB Rushton School and Children's Home. Our name changed to RNIB Pears Centre for Specialist Learning in 2011 as part of a major redevelopment and in recognition of the exceptional support of Pears Foundation.
Our redevelopment is one of RNIB’s most ambitious projects ever, creating our fully-accessible school, bungalows, gardens and outdoor play areas.
