General interest titles
These general interest accessible image books can be enjoyed by those familiar and new to tactile images. Some books in the series have been designed specifically to support and encourage the early stages of tactile graphic literacy development and enjoyment.
Each book contains coloured clear print and tactile black and white images, as well as accompanying supportive descriptions in 24-point print and contracted braille (grade 2). These descriptions encourage the user to read the image in a structured and logical way and, if required, enable sighted assistants to support them.
