Magnifiers
Before you buy a magnifier, it is important that you've had your eyes tested in the last two years to make sure your eyes are healthy and that your glasses are still suitable.
You can be referred to your local Low Vision Service for advice and equipment, and our free 'Choosing your magnifier' guide explains more.
In this section you'll find magnifiers up to a maximum of six times, some with built-in lights, for use in everyday reading tasks, as well as out and about. For magnifiers over six times, you should in the first instance go to your local Low Vision Service for support on different reading techniques.
