Text to speech (T T S)

DAISY Recording and voice notes

• choose the DAISY recording quality and create either MP3 or WAV audio files (PCM)

Connectivity

• download podcasts and listen to internet radio using wifi
• USB port to connect the player to your PC. This port can also be used to access information on a memory stick or an external powered hard drive directly on the player. You can also transfer information from the player to the hard drive or flash memory
• built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 10 hours of listening and eight hours of recording. Battery charges in around four hours when fully drained

Firmware updates

Occasionally, a new version of the Plextalk Pocket's internal software (firmware) becomes available. All new Plextalk Pocket DAISY players have the latest firmware installed but if you already have one, we recommend you update it with the latest firmware. This will ensure you are getting the most out of your player. The latest firmware is version 5.03.
