Take Off Pack B (series 7 to 12) contains 26 books covering the second half of this second level braille reading scheme. The full Take Off course aims to develop a child's phonic skills, and knowledge of braille contractions and wordsigns. It also encourages enjoyment of reading and writing. The course takes the learner to the end of contracted braille (grade 2).
Product details
Each series is identified by the colour of the cover and tactile illustrations. A print version of the capitalised braille text appears on facing pages throughout to encourage shared reading at home and school.
Each book contains a practice page and story and books in series 7 to 10 also include a "fun page" of activities to encourage braille writing.
Take Off series 7 to 12 can be used with the following reading course: Read On series 7 to 12.
