The SuperCheck2 meter announces blood glucose readings in six seconds and is the only meter available in the UK that provides an audible error message when there isn't enough blood applied to the test strip.
This meter is available free to blind and partially sighted diabetics but is strictly limited to one per person.
Important information
Before using the meter, if you are in any doubt as to how much blood needs applying to the test strip, or that a reading is believed to be inaccurate, consult with your diabetes healthcare professional.
Patients undergoing hema dialysis (both during and after), will need to be careful due to potentially higher glucose readings. For patients using extraneal dialysis, you can use this meter throughout the whole process.
