There is a wide disparity in the provision of mobility and independence education for children with sight problems across the UK. To gain a clear picture of this provision and to identify recommendations for improvement, a one-year project has investigated the mobility and independence needs of children aged 2 to 16 with sight difficulties. This report outlines the key recommendations.
