RNIB's "Lost and found" campaign aims to ensure that high-quality information, advice and emotional support are routinely available to individuals who are told that they are losing their sight. This report gives a glimpse into the everyday lives of people who have been able to see and have lost their sight and describes the impact of sight loss on everyday activities that other people take for granted. The campaign highlights the fact that with the right support in place, people can find their life again after losing their sight.
In 2010 the campaign focused on the emotional and practical impact of no longer being able to read print when losing your sight. For a copy of our "Lost for words" and "Lost and found" campaign reports, call 020 7391 2123, email campaigns@rnib.org.uk or visit rnib.org.uk/campaigns
