Get Going is designed for the learner who needs to progress at a slower pace. The print version of the stories is shown on facing pages to help with paired reading and capital letters are indicated in the braille.

The scheme was developed with Scottish funding and contains many stories incorporating Scottish culture.

Get Going comprises 30 books - five books in each of the six series and can used with the following reading courses: Take Off series 1 to 3; Read On series 1 to 3; Abi books 1 to 23.

Supplied with the teachers' notes in print.
