The Boff brothers live at home with their Mam. They have a lav down the yard and a tin bath in front of the fire on club nights, but they are also rising stars at the Birmingham Welsh and the Rover Sports and Social. Cled tinkles the ivories while Sel slips on his gold lamé jacket and serenades the ladies. When Sel tries his chances in America, Cled tags along, into a world of sequinned suits and mirrored ceilings, heart-shaped tubs and stretch limousines. Eventually so do the rest of the family. However it's tough at the top and times change, the kids want rock 'n' roll, and there is always some armchair gravedigger waiting to bury you. Then there is the family, you never know what skeletons they're going to start dragging out of your walk-in closet.
