"Hear me out" is an audio CD Rom containing two hours' worth of recorded interviews with around 40 blind and partially sighted children and young people about their lives at home and school.,

The interviews have been edited into sections which roughly relate to the five outcomes of Every Child Matters. They include children talking about their visual impairment, staying healthy, getting about on their own, who their friends are, how they are treated at school and what they want to do when they leave school.

"Hear me out" provides real food for thought about the real life experiences of children to set alongside the principles and practices discussed in Count me in DVD Rom (ED499).

There is also a DAISY version of "Hear me out" on the CD.
