Drawing with your Perkins brailler - print

Product features

Producing outline pictures on a Perkins brailler is a lot of fun, and also helps with spatial awareness and understanding pictorial representation.

This book contains detailed step-by-step instructions (rather like knitting patterns) for creating 36 different drawings, including simple shapes and more complex pictures such as elephants, trains and designs for Valentine and Christmas cards. Completed pictures can be coloured in, or have collage added.

It contains the actual dotty pictures, to show what the drawings will look like when completed.

Product details

While it may be useful to initially help a child create a picture by dictating the instructions, later the child may like to "have a go" unaided. For this reason, we are offering a reduced price if both the print and braille versions of the book are bought together. If you would like both versions of the book for £35.98 (save £4.00) please contact RNIB on 0303 123 9999 to place your order.
