The map starts with an overview of south and east Devon in relation to Britain followed by an overview of Devon and the counties that surround it. The map then goes into more detail showing the main towns/villages and the roads that link them, railway lines, rivers and canals, and some places of interest. The area covered is from Highampton in the mid-west to Tytheleigh in the east, down to Plymouth and Salcombe in the south and Seaton in the south east.
