the watch face and the talking module keep time independently
simple to set: press the two recessed buttons on the side of the watch with a pen to change the time. Left changes the hours and the right changes the minutes
set the time on the watch face to match the talking time by turning the winder

the watch movement is fitted with a silver oxide battery type SR621SW (SR60/364)
the talking module is fitted with a lithium battery CR2016. Replacement batteries are available from RNIB (CP07).
