This tactile clock allows deafblind customers to independently tell the time and to use the alarm as it has a tactile face allowing the time to be told and the alarm to be set by touch, and the vibrating alarm is in addition to an audible one.

with the clock positioned on a bedside table the vibrating alarm pad can be placed under a pillow, whereupon a series of strong vibrations begin once the alarm goes off

the plastic protective cover on the front of the black clock face can be removed, allowing you to feel the time

the white hands are tactile and each hour/minute mark is denoted by dots: 12'o clock - three dots, three, six and nine o'clock respectively - two dots, and each hour/minute in between - one dot

slim hand is used to set the alarm - choose between two alarm options - audible or vibrating

button on top is used to activate the snooze alarm, which will begin again after five minutes once activated, and also turns on the clock's light which illuminates the face

clock is powered by one AA battery. Replacement available from RNIB(CP03)

the clock is also supplied with a 9V power supply, which is used to power the vibrating alarm pad.
Please note: RNIB does not guarantee batteries. Should you need to replace the battery within the guarantee period RNIB can, for a small charge, replace them.
