The BBC Proms is the world's greatest classical music festival. Opening at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday 12 July and closing on Saturday 7 September 2013.
Some 70 concerts are staged and Proms in the Park events around the country coincide with the famous Last Night with Terry Wogan hosting the event from Hyde Park on Saturday 7 September. Special guests include Bryan Ferry, Nigel Kennedy and Dame Edna Everage.
