Funded by Arts Council England, The VIP Project is a new initiative to enable blind and partially sighted young people to pursue songwriting and performance.
The project involves a series of songwriting and performing workshops for 18 to 35 year olds who are visually impaired, and is delivered by established and successful singer-songwriters in the music industry.
Based in Birmingham, it's run by founder Nicki Kelly, a singer-songwriter who is also partially sighted.
We'll be following the participants on their journey through the project, which concludes in an exciting live show, The VIP Project showcase, taking place in May.
