TV Help is a website that provides a list of the audio described TV programmes and films that broadcast on Freeview, Sky, Virgin Media and Freesat.
Why is TV Help the website of the month?
TV Help is the website of the month because it helps blind and partially sighted people find accessible TV programmes and films across many TV platforms. TV Help also list the 20 most recent DVD’s and Blu-Ray’s that are available with audio description.
TV Help also provides information on what audio description is and how you can get it. The site also has a news section which features stories that relate to audio description as well as a hot news section which lists old archived stories.
The TV Help website has a high contrast design which compatible with the large text options found in the options menu in Internet Explorer.

TV Help is a website that provides up-to-date listings of audio described programs on TV. It provides TV guides for Freeview, Sky, Virgin Media and Freesat. It provides daily listings of programs with audio description.
Each channel has its own heading so it is easy to jump from channel to channel with your screen reader. Only programs that have audio description are listed for each channel.
It also provides information on DVDs with audio description. A simple but very useful website.
