RNIB’s commercial print facility in Gateshead transcribes and produces alternative media (Braille; large print; audio) for the blind and the partially sighted on behalf of our commercial clients.
Volume production at RNIB Gateshead ensures that the blind and partially sighted receive important documentation in their preferred accessible format to meet RNIB’s strategic priorities of inclusion and independence.
You’ll lead the volume production team to deliver an exemplar standard of accessible format information to time, cost and quality as required to both internal and external customer’s expectations and to the blind and partially sighted sector and community.
With extensive experience in printing and media processing, you will have a proven track record of delivering production on time and to cost within an ISO quality system. You will be able to demonstrate leadership of a team, through leading by example, clear communication and driving personal development within the team. Planning/organisational skills and problem solving are fundamental to you being successful in the role. You will have worked in roles which require client (internal & external) interaction, whether it is helping win new business or dealing with existing clients.
