If you have access to a car, you could support people to attend our occasional Looking Forward courses. These courses offer valuable practical and emotional support to recently diagnosed blind and partially sighted people.
Do you enjoy meeting people and making them feel welcomed with refreshments and friendly conversation? Could you guide delegates around the venue at our Looking Forward courses? These courses offer practical advice to people in the areas listed below who have recently experienced sight loss and we are looking for friendly volunteers to offer a warm reception when they attend their local course.
Have you experienced sight loss? Are you a confident speaker? Can you talk about how you have overcame these challenges at our Looking Forward courses? These courses are designed to offer practical and emotional support to those who have recently been diagnosed with sight loss and hearing the experiences of others can be a great source of support.
Are you interested in helping individuals in an activity setting? Then this could be for you! We're looking for individuals to help out during our activities to guide people who are blind or partially sighted.
Do you enjoy socialising with people and providing company? Why not become a befriender? As a befriender you will become a companion for some who is visually impaired. Help them to gain independence by accompanying them to enjoy hobbies and activities they may not have been able to do otherwise or simply meet with them for a tea and chat.
We are looking for someone who is either part or full CIPD qualified and is seeking practical experience to work with our busy Resourcing and/or HR Administration teams. Based in our London office for 3-4 days per week, you will gain an insight into how our HR team delivers excellent customer service across the RNIB Group.

We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist our Online Today marketing team. Online Today is a Big Lottery funded project helping people with sensory loss to get online. You will support the team coordinating events and writing content for various marketing channels, as well as day to day admin.
