Big Finish re-launches with download service

We learn from the Ranger Station that Big Finish - which makes "high quality radio plays" from series such as Dark Shadows, Judge Dredd, Classic Doctor Who and, from this year, Stargate - has re-launched its website with a new download service.

"For the first time you can subscribe to a download service for many of the Big Finish heavies like Doctor Who and the upcoming Stargate stories. The company will still offer their traditional CDs, however, paying for shipping is an expensive proposition for those of us in the States. If you do, like me, like physical media you aren’t out in the cold on the downloads. In fact you can download the files the day the masters are cut for CD pressings. So you can have the best of both worlds in that respect."

Ranger1138 admits he's a gigantic fan of the Big Finish productions - read Ranger1138's blog entry in full.

Your stories

Diane's story - Diane Clark, 47, was diagnosed with diabetes in her teens and with diabetic retinopathy when she was 25. She received regular treatment and eye tests. “I missed one appointment. This resulted in me losing more of my sight than I would have done if I'd have gone. If you have diabetes then you simply can’t afford to miss having a regular eye test.” Open Your Eyes campaign
