Haggeye is a project that works across Scotland so young people aged 12 to 25 years old can come together to make a difference by successfully campaigning for accessible services, facilities and opportunities, locally and nationally.
Haggeye was previously known as the Youth Forum. The project is supported by the Big Lottery Fund.
What we do
Haggeye offers opportunities to enable young people's voices to be heard. It provides opportunities to:
- meet new people and make new friends
- take part in social activities
- discuss issues
- influence the provision of services
- campaign for change.
Regional Haggeye Forums
There are three regional Haggeye, each with its own social events, campaigning activity and training programmes. Find out what is going on in your area:
Steering group
It is young people who decide what Haggeye does through a steering group. They decide on events, campaigns and training nationwide.
Discussion board
The Haggeye discussion board lets you chat about things that are important to you, as well as let you feed into Haggeye campaigns.
News
There are lots of things going on through the Haggeye, and on the news page you can read all about it! Read about what has happened, what is happening, campaigns and about volunteering for the Youth Forum.

Jill's story - Jill lost her sight 12 years ago at the age of 19. “The experience left me feeling isolated. I often felt like my life was pointless." Now, as a presenter on Insight Radio, she uses her experiences to help others. “My prayer is that what we do helps those who are going through sight loss. Even the tiniest piece of information can make a huge difference. If my show can help do that, then my journey has not been in vain.” Jill's full story
