What can the braille collection offer you?
- A large range of braille books for all age groups are available to borrow from the library.
- Many braille books are available to buy from the online shop.
- A selection of braille music including scores and books about music and music theory.
- Books borrowed from the library are delivered under the Articles for the Blind scheme.
- Books and material for braille learners are available to borrow and purchase.
Learning braille
We have a collection of short, single sided books designed for learners in grade one and two. Find out more about learning braille. If you are unable to use braille but would like to read by touch you could try books in the Moon format.
You can request a free copy of our sample braille card plus other helpful braille materials from the online shop.

You can get help with choosing books and many book lists are available to give you ideas.
