Playtime! lists more than 100 fun and accessible toys for children who are blind or partially sighted. The catalogue also includes guidelines and advice about choosing your own toys. Produced in conjunction with the British Toy and Hobby Association.

Toy Libraries provide an excellent opportunity to try out toys before spending money on buying them. You can borrow a wide selection of toys, and then swap them for new ones if they lose their novelty value! Contact the National Association to locate your nearest toy library:
