RNIB Sunshine House School

RNIB Sunshine House School, Northwood is a non-maintained primary special school for children aged 2-11 years with complex/multiple disabilities who are blind or partially sighted. The school provides high quality, specialist education and care through its daily and residential provision. A holistic approach is provided through the expertise of a qualified multi-disciplinary staff team, who are highly motivated and well-trained.

RNIB Rushton School and Children's Home

RNIB Rushton School and Children's Home offers unique specialist education and all year round flexible residential care for young people between the ages of four and nineteen years who have a sight problem and complex needs. The school also offers education to a small number of pupils who attend on a daily basis.

RNIB College Loughborough

RNIB College Loughborough is a national, specialist college welcoming people who are blind or partially sighted, or may have other disabilities, aged 16 to 63 on a residential or day basis. Most but not all of the learners have a sight problem. People also come with chronic illness, deafness, learning difficulties, physical mobility difficulties and controlled mental health issues.

  • Academic, independent living, or work-focussed programmes are available
  • A partnership with mainstream college offers choice of courses in specialist setting or supported access to mainstream options.
