JSonar7 for Cakewalk Sonar 7.2 released

You can now download JSonar7 for Cakewalk Sonar 7.2. Some of the features in this latest release are:

• New “help mode” for beginners
• Support for Step Sequencer
• New way of interacting with sends/tracks/buses
• Much more improved HSC sets for popular plug-ins
• Stability improvements.

TVonics mini set top box - price reduction from RNIB

RNIB has reduced the price of the TVonics mini set top box (TV02) from £69.99 to £58.75 (both prices include VAT). There is no time limit on this price reduction.

This mini digital set top box connects to your existing TV using the aerial socket to give access to Freeview digital TV channels and radio stations (where Freeview is available). The remote control has large, raised buttons and a dedicated audio description button. This box will require the TV to be retuned and may require some assistance.

New web-based screen reader

Dean Martineau draws our attention to WebAnywhere, a free web-based screen reader being developed at the University of Washington.
