How your company can help RNIB

Summary: Information about the different ways your company can help RNIB.

RNIB is the largest national charity providing services for people with sight problems throughout the UK. Our Corporate Partnerships team has a proven track record in understanding business priorities, matching these with RNIB opportunities and delivering what we promise.

How your company can help

RNIB provides technological products to benefit people with sight problems.

RNIB works at the leading edge of campaigning for change and technological development, providing services and products that benefit people with sight problems in today’s complex world.

Companies, large and small, have benefited from working with us. Together we can help people with sight problems, now and into the future.

Working with RNIB will make a positive difference to your business. And your support will help us rebuild lives devastated by sight loss.

One of our current projects is RNIB's Vision School and Children's Home. Your support will help RNIB to provide a vital educational and residential service for blind and partially sighted children with severe disabilities and complex needs.

Cause-related marketing (CRM)

CRM is where a company and a charity work together to market a product or service for the benefit of both parties. Many companies find that this sort of partnership works because it can help raise money for the charity while, at the same time, increasing brand awareness.

Examples of current CRM promotions include:

  • Teleflorist will donate 10 per cent of the price of one of three beautiful bouquets.
  • A special deal when you buy a case of Virgin Wines
  • Accor Services are donating 10p for every eye examination voucher sold.

"We are very pleased to be supporting RNIB and helping to raise the profile of eye health.”
Chris Crang, Accor Services Marketing and Business Development Director

Your stories

Jill's story - Jill lost her sight 12 years ago at the age of 19. “The experience left me feeling isolated. I often felt like my life was pointless." Now, as a presenter on Insight Radio, she uses her experiences to help others. “My prayer is that what we do helps those who are going through sight loss. Even the tiniest piece of information can make a huge difference. If my show can help do that, then my journey has not been in vain.” Jill's full story
