Summary: Information about the music collection at the RNIB Library Service.


What can the music collection offer?

  • A wide selection of music in alternative formats is available to borrow.
  • 14,000 braille music scores: vocal and instrumental scores from classical pieces and opera to popular music and jazz.
  • Music for piano, organ and voice as well as a variety of other instruments including strings, woodwind and brass.
  • Books for beginners in braille music.
  • Books about music including the history and theory of music.
  • Audio learning materials for people who don't read braille music but wish to play an instrument.
