By road

• A316 & M4 (A4) motorway converge at the Hogarth Roundabout in Chiswick. Continue straight over, along the Great West Road (A4).
• Following signs for Hammersmith.
• Exit left for Hammersmith, just before the A4 Hammersmith Flyover.
• Proceed along Hammersmith Bridge Road (church on right) to the roundabout.
• Take the 5th exit (Parallel to the Flyover with the Novotel London West, second building on your left).
• Take 1st left into Shortlands for the main entrance.
• For the car park, please take 1st left after the main entrance.
• The car park charge is £3.00 per hour for non-residents and £1.00 per hour for residents.

By air

• Heathrow Airport - Direct underground via the Piccadilly line to Hammersmith.
• Gatwick Airport - British Rail link to Victoria and then District line to Hammersmith.

By rail

From Kings Cross take Hammersmith and City line Underground Station.

By underground

Hammersmith underground is just three minutes walk away from the Novotel Hotel.

This station is a major interchange and offers the District, Piccadilly and Hammersmith & City lines which between them connect with the entire London Underground system.

Piccadilly / District exit onto Hammersmith Broadway

Make your way across the wide paved area bearing right to the pedestrian crossing which crosses Hammersmith Broadway. You will cross onto a triangular pedestrian island. Then take the right hand crossing towards Chiltons letting agency (blue lettering on white).

Bear right down Hammersmith Broadway past the Chiltons shop towards the large road traffic sign which says Kensington Olympia A315. Just after this sign, cross right onto a triangular pedestrian island. Then take the left hand crossing towards a large modern building.

Bear left down Hammersmith Broadway again. After a short distance there are some trees where the route to the Conference and Expo differ. For the final route refer to the relevant paragraph below.

Piccadilly / District exit in front of the bus station

Turn right as you leave the exit and walk around the bus station which is now on your left. Bear left along Butterwick towards Hammersmith Broadway.

As you approach Hammersmith Broadway there is a pedestrian crossing on your right. Cross onto a triangular pedestrian island. Then take the right hand crossing towards a large modern building.

Bear left down Hammersmith Broadway. After a short distance there are some trees where the route to the Conference and Expo differ. For the final route refer to the relevant paragraph below.

Piccadilly / District exit onto Talgarth Road in front of Hammersmith Flyover

Turn right as you leave the station exit. Follow the railings round into Caroline Street. Walk up Caroline Street until you reach Hammersmith Broadway. Make your way across the wide paved area bearing right to the pedestrian crossing which crosses Hammersmith Broadway. You will cross onto a triangular pedestrian island.

Then take the right hand crossing towards Chiltons letting agency (blue lettering on white). Bear right down Hammersmith Broadway past the Chiltons shop towards the large road traffic sign which says Kensington Olympia A315. As you leave the station exit and face Smollensky's Bar and Grill turn right. As you approach Caroline Street bear to your right and walk up Caroline Street until you reach Hammersmith Broadway.

Make your way across the wide paved area bearing right to the pedestrian crossing which crosses Hammersmith Broadway. You will cross onto a triangular pedestrian island. Then take the right hand crossing towards Chiltons letting agency (blue lettering on white). Hammersmith & City exit onto Beadon Road

Make your way out of the station onto Beadon road and turn left. Move past a small parking bay on your right. To you right there is a pedestrian crossing. Use it to cross onto a triangular pedestrian island.

Then take the left hand crossing towards Chiltons letting agency (blue lettering on white). Bear right down Hammersmith Broadway past the Chiltons shop towards the large road traffic sign which says Kensington Olympia A315. Just after this sign cross right onto a triangular pedestrian island. Then take the left hand crossing towards a large modern building.

By bus

Bus numbers 9, 10 and 27 run into Broadway, along the Hammersmith Road.

Final route to the conference

There is a ramp and some stairs under the trees up to the Novotel hotel. The ramp and stairs meet and continue with another short ramp. Turn left at the raised garden and then right, the hotel entrance is in front of you.

Final route to expo

Continue along Hammersmith Broadway past the trees. Turn right into Shortlands. After short distance down Shortlands the taxi entrance to the hotel is on your right. Keep right of the Hotel sign and walk down the covered road until you reach some mesh panelling. The Expo entrance is on your left.
