The RNIB See Differently Awards - Coronavirus Heroes Voting terms and conditions.

  1. People who are resident in the UK (excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, or other non-UK mobile) can take part by texting the keyword corresponding to their chosen nominee to 70100 or by using the online voting form and selecting their favourite nominee in each category on the RNIB website. Texts will be free of charge.

  2. Voting opens at 9 am on 10 November 2020 and closes at 23.59 on 26 November 2020. Any text votes received outside the announced voting times, or with any wording different to the nominee keywords/hero numbers outlined, will not count towards the final voting numbers.

  3. Each person can only register three votes by text message (per mobile phone number) and one vote per category online. Any further text or online votes will not count towards the final voting numbers.

  4. The winning nominees are to be announced on the RNIB website after the voting has closed.

  5. RNIB reserves the right to disqualify entries or suspend voting if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent voting has occurred, or if it considers there has been any attempt to rig the voting. RNIB has the right to substitute an alternative selection method at its absolute discretion.

  6. If, for any reason, the voting method fails, the vote may be suspended, or a contingency plan may be actioned. In the unlikely event of a tie a contingency plan will be actioned.

  7. RNIB reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. RNIB reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend this vote at any time.

  8. RNIB, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies, cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any telephone network or line, system, server, provider, or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.

  9. RNIB will only use your personal details for the purposes of administering this competition and will only ever keep your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil those purposes. Please see the RNIB Privacy Policy.

  10. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
