People who are resident in the UK (excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) can take part by nominating someone in their preferred category via the nomination forms on our website at rnib.org.uk/sdawards.
Nominations are open from 09.00 on 18 November 2021 and close at 23.59 on 9 January 2022. Any nominations received outside the announced nominating times will not count towards the final selection process.
You can only nominate one individual per category, but you can nominate more than one person per category and nominate in more than one category.
Category sponsors are not eligible for entry into the same category of which they are sponsoring. RNIB employees may not be nominated.
RNIB reserves the right to change the category the nominee is being nominated for, if we feel another category is more appropriate.
The winning nominees are to be announced on the RNIB website after the nominations period has closed.
RNIB reserves the right to disqualify entries, if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraudulent nominations have occurred. RNIB have the right to substitute an alternative selection method at its absolute discretion.
RNIB reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. RNIB reserves the right to change, cancel or suspend the nominations at any time.
