L'Occitane is continuing to support the TGS scheme with a donation from the L'Occitane foundation as well as funds raised by inspired fundraising activities including cooking classes. L'Occitane will also be donating proceeds from the sale of their soon to be launched tote bag to RNIB throughout 2014. Trainee Grade Scheme user Siobhan Payne says "I am very grateful to L'Occitane and RNIB for providing this opportunity, for once, I feel confident in myself and that I am actually doing something with my life that is worthwhile"
L'Occitane has previously supported RNIB through their honey scented 'Candle for Sight'.
"Candle for Sight not only adds a beautiful sensorial ambience to my home making me feel like I'm in a delicious blossoming garden, it helps raise important funds for RNIB to train and support blind and partially sighted people in starting a professional career. With 100% of the sale proceeds being donated to RNIB, this candle is at the top of my shopping list this month!" Arlene Phillips, TV Personality
I have long been a supporter of RNIB and their amazing work to change the lives of blind and partially sighted people in the UK. I am delighted by this partnership with L'Occitane - a natural beauty brand that has long supported the same cause as well, with braille labelling on their products and fundraising activities across the world.
