How do I play the RNIB Weekly Lottery?

Simply choose the number of chances you'd like per week, then fill in the online entry form to set up your Direct Debit, or alternatively download and print our printable Direct Debit form (Word, 304 KB) and post it back to us at the address below.

We will send you a player's pack within 14 days of receipt of your entry. Your pack will include further information about the RNIB Weekly Lottery, your unique draw number(s) and a copy of the rules. Please keep your pack in a safe place for your records. 

You can take part in the RNIB Weekly Lottery for as many weeks as you wish. If you want to cancel at any time all you need to do is get in touch with us or your bank.

Can I play for a fixed period of time?

The RNIB Weekly Lottery involves a simple monthly Direct Debit payment. We don't accept payments or cheques for a fixed period of time, but you can set up and cancel your Direct Debit at any time. If you wish, you can also pay for the RNIB Weekly Lottery with a quarterly or annual Direct Debit payment.

Will I get a lottery number?

Yes, we will send your randomly allocated lottery numbers in the post shortly after you sign up, along with all of the information you need to play. These are your numbers for every week you take part in the RNIB Weekly Lottery. If you play one chance a week, you will get one set of numbers, if you play two chances a week, you will get two sets of numbers and so on. If you would like to change your number, please give us a call on 0345 6016 936 or return the form provided in your pack. 

How often does the RNIB Weekly Lottery draw take place?

The RNIB Weekly Lottery draw takes place every week, on a Friday.

How will I know if I’ve won an RNIB Weekly Lottery prize?

If you are a prize winner you'll receive a letter from us within 14 days of the draw. The list of winners will be published on our website the next working day after the draw.

How will I receive my RNIB Weekly Lottery prize?

We will transfer the winning money directly into your account or send you a cheque, depending on how you pay for your RNIB Weekly Lottery chances.

How many winners are there each week?

There are fifty prizes every week. The first prize is £1,000, second prize is £250, then three winners will receive £100 each and 45 winners will receive £10 each. Four times a year we will hold a Super Draw.

How do I cancel my RNIB Weekly Lottery direct debit?

You can cancel at any time by contacting either us or your bank directly. You can:

How do I increase my number of weekly chances?

You can increase your number of weekly entries into the RNIB Weekly Lottery by calling our Lottery Hotline on 0345 6016 936 and asking to buy more entries.

How does the Super Draw work?

For one week, four times a year, we run a Super Draw where the first prize is £10,000 for that quarterly draw. For Christmas, it’s an amazing £25,000 (for that draw only). Super Draws take place in September, December, March and June. It doesn't matter how long you've been playing the RNIB Weekly Lottery, you will still qualify to take part in the Super Draw.

Who runs the RNIB Weekly Lottery?

The RNIB Weekly Lottery is run and administered by, Woods Group Ltd, Bumpers Way, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN14 6NG.

Why does my direct debit amount vary from month to month?

It costs just £1 per chance to play the RNIB Weekly Lottery each week. So, if you play one chance a week in a four week month, £4 will be debited from your account. Some calendar months are made up of five weeks with five draws taking place instead of four, so the cost for that month will be £5. Your Direct Debit will only be collected once a month, but depending upon the number of weeks within that month, your payment will vary. 

What day is my Direct Debit collected?

The collection day for your Direct Debit is either the 1st or 15th of the month, or the nearest working day.

Are my RNIB Weekly Lottery payments eligible for Gift Aid?

Your RNIB Weekly Lottery payments are not eligible for Gift Aid.

Do you accept entries from syndicates?

The RNIB Weekly Lottery is aimed at individuals. However if you wish to represent a syndicate and act on behalf of them, we would accept your personal details. All winnings would be paid into your account.

Who can enter the RNIB Weekly Lottery?

All players must be 16 years of age or older and residents of Great Britain to play the RNIB Weekly Lottery. For further information, please read our terms and conditions.
