Booking now open for your largest professional development opportunity in 2017

Booking is open for the 2017 VIEW residential conference, the biggest professional development event in the UK focussing on the education and development of children and young people with vision impairment.

The conference will take place in Birmingham on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 March. 
Confirmed speakers so far include:
  • Anna Swenson – key strategies to promote braille literacy
  • Peter White – reflections on the education of blind children and a lifetime in broadcasting
  • Naomi Dale – latest findings from Great Ormond Street Hospital and RNIB’s Optimum VI project exploring early development of blind babies
  • Dr Reza Kiani – autism and vision impairment
  • Mike McLinden – redefining the role of the QTVI
The conference will also feature a comprehensive exhibition of technology and educational resources on Thursday and a wide choice of practical workshops on Friday.
