Women talking together

Do you want to network, train and share best practice with other professionals working with children with complex needs? The VITAL network could be for you.

Visual Impairment Touches All Learning (VITAL) is facilitated by RNIB, but is mainly comprised of teaching and associated professionals working in schools, support services, early years and health settings.

VITAL's main areas of work are:

  • The development and dissemination of good practice;
  • Peer support and networking; and
  • Staff development and training.

VITAL has regional focus groups around the country which provide the opportunity for teachers, teaching assistants, habilitation specialists early and other professionals to get together for development opportunities and networking.

Groups meet twice a year to hear presentations and discuss topics relating to children and young people with vision impairment and complex needs.

If you would like to find out more or join a group near you, please contact [email protected] or phone 0113 386 2815 for more information.
